Lower the deficit buy eliminating shoe shines paid with our tax dollars.

It's time to make cuts no matter how small. Tax dollars currently pay for Congressmen and women to get their shoes shined. I think a salary of over $175,000 covers shoe shines. Let the people on the hill show fiscal responsibility and pay to shine their own shoes. If you want to know just how much you can check out the disbersment report from the last quarter of 2010. It is available online and details where your tax dollars went. Notify your Congress person it's time to pay their own way with their six figure salary.

ridiculous. Is this a perk? In addition to not paying their taxes, being above the law, life pension after two years, outstanding health care and what do they work, maybe 10 days a year?!
