Friends. Please help me... I have a pet english bulldog. Two months ago, a family friend gave us 2 more dogs both of which are labradors (male and female). My bulldog and the male labrador doesnt get along well. They are always fighting each other! And just this morning, my bulldog was biting the labrador and i was feeling hurt and weak when i saw my brother beating my bulldog just for the two dogs to get loose on each other. My sister was grabbing the lab's head while i was also holding my bulldog's legs. When the fight was over, my brother told me to give away my bulldog! Man, i feel so weak... Macho, the bulldog is my first pet... I dont have the heart to give away my pet. Friends. Why do dogs fight? In my observation, they were not even fighting over food. What must i do? What do you suggest? Is it wrong to take care of 2 male dogs? I also have a pet male labrador (my own, his name is Panggoi). The new lab was also hurting Panggoi. Just last week, he bit my pet; good thing though that Panggoi moves really fast and was able to get away from the big one. What is wrong here? Help!

Are all three dogs fixed? Both males neutered and the female spayed? If not, doing that could make a HUGE difference. But if they are, or if that turns out not to work, then there is something you can try I saw on tv once. You can reward the dogs when they are all in the same room. Who is usually the aggressor? Who starts the fights? Here's what you do: Keep whoever usualy starts the fights in a room with you, and have someone else waiting in another room with the other dog. Then have that person walk the other dog into the room, in view of the aggressor. When the aggressor see's the other dog, give them a little treat. Keep doing this, and keep moving the dog's closer to each other....pretty soon the dogs will begin to associate each other with gettign a treat. Extra Tips: ~Be sure BOTH dogs are getting a treat when they are brought into view of each other. And throwing in a couple 'good boys' and pats won't hurt ~If the dogs are not fixed (especially both the boys) this may not work as well as it would with 2 neutered males. Good luck!!!

Hmm.. I think the dogs fight because they feel it's their territory. I think the best way for you to do is to separate them.. to put them in different cages/playpen maybe?
