It was a big Trauma for me the experience of getting into trouble. I have maintained a good reputation at work for almost 6 years now. And for a one scenario that i didn't mean to happened and never expected too...all is gone. I'm really depressed because of this. And i don't know how to get over it. I tried to seek friends advise, but nothing is working. Do i need to consult a psychologist? My mind is really isn't working better now, i think of nothing. The scenario are keep on coming back, i can't help it. Can somebody out there give your thoughts? Thanks a lot!

Well, there really is a point in our life when we have to experience something that is so traumatic and some are shameful. I think what happened to you was just a trial or a wake up call. Do not dwell in your guilt, tell yourself that you are not the only one who experienced what you had. If you made a mistake, ask forgiveness from the people you have wronged and forgive yourself too. Try to busy yourself with things you enjoy to divert your thoughts. The trauma would not go away immediately, but in due time you will forget it and consider it as a learning experience. Tell yourself never to commit the same mistake again. Start all over, call on God, attend church activities. God is the only refuge. Be brave to face the world and show them that you regret what you did and you are ready to change for the better. God will help earn your victory. I did, you can do it too.

Well said. Need to ask forgiveness to whoever concerned, forgive ourselves and get busy with things we like. Normally people cannot sincerely ask forgiveness nor forgive ourselves, that's wen it became traumatic.

Yes, I get into trouble everytime I open my mouth at work. It seems like someone gets offended by what I say. As for you, you will never forget this event. The thought will eventually fade at times, but you will remember again. I speak from experience. Best Wishes!

OH, THAT"s really bad. I know it will take time to heal the wounds. But the thought of coming back is not good for me. I don't want to remember it anymore, in fact. I just wish i could move on fast. Thank you so much sswallace!

I know exactly what you mean. I hate thinking about bad stuff that happen in the past. It just brings back the old feelings. Like your Avatar. I always liked that show. Best Wishes!
