Some times when i feel depressed

Some times i feel sad, depressed, lonely and totaly out of this world. I could not know why i feel like this and tries to find out the root cause. There i find many reasons like i should act like this do like this i should bear this types of thoughts with others, i am lazy, i can not face the situation and took prompt action so on and on... I think there may be many who some times feels like this. I want to know whats you does to relive from this. Yes i have reads where people suggest long list of do's and don't Listen to music Avoid alcohols try to get extra sleep meditate take a warm bath read a book pamper yourself and so on.. What i do go straight to the meditation room and sit there for 1 hours or 2. Meditation clam downs mind and body and relives all negativity and yes I also gets positive results from music also.

I'm the type that gets easily depressed, with no reasons. Or it might be because there are so many reasons pile up together that I get so confused what made me depressed. And when I get depressed, For me there's nothing I could do. I've tried listen to music, play game, going out, find something nice to eat. But I don't feel comfortable doing all that thing while I'm depressed. The best thing to do for me is to lie there in the bed, and if I feel like crying, i just cry out. That's what I do until I recover.

yes ajit, every body's life the moment will come that one feels depressed in difficult circumstances. The methods to overcome depression mentioned by you also useful. Through meditation one can overcome depression and get peace of mind.

Welcome to mylot ajit, you know I also feel sometimes that feeling, and one thing i did is meditate and pray sincerely and making my self busy. one of the the source that relieves my emotion is reading some discussion here in mylot. Hope few suggestion can help, have a nice day

It's very exhausting to feel sad and be depressed. I feel like that all the time and what I do is that I try not to think negatively about myself. I also practice breathing excersises. But what I think helps the most is to express yourself and you can do this in many ways: you can draw, write, sing, dance, or just talk to some one.
