Add Adobe Premier and Camtasia Studio to your list of video editors option. These two are also great ones. :)

There is Windows movie maker, but then I would recommend Adobe After-effects. You could use Macromedia Flash too. There are lots of other video editing software. These three are just the ones I am capable of using. Enjoy editing!

Thannk you for replying. I will have to look into After-Effects. I have windows movie maker but haven really had the chance to play with it. I'm hoping to find something that I can cut out parts of videos, and take clippings and paste them together with other videos.

Hai abbiemaldonado I feel windows movie maker is the best video editing software and after that video pad editor etc... are some of the editor which is good and I feel windows movie maker is the best because it consists of various transition properties, various titles and credits various video effects and you could also create an auto movie.

Well if you want just to merge some videos you can use Windows Movie Maker because is very simple to use(Drag and Drop) and it`s found in every wondows in Program Files. Also you can use Sony Vegas. It`s a little harder to use but it has a lot o features, you can add test in the videos and so much more effects. Almost the hardest program to use is Adobe After Effects. This one is used by movie makers in making special effect in movies and you need a lot of time to learn how to use it. Good Luck
