I am 4.00OD and 3.50OS. I wear contact lenses when i go out but when i am at home, i wear glasses. Do you think it is worth it to undergo lasik surgery? They claimed that the eyesight will regain its 20/20 vision but it sure costs Php60k here. What do you think friends?

Hello there, Yes I know several people who have done it, I believe each eye was $2000 to get it done and all of the ones that have done have 20/20 vision. Do make sure you research whomever is doing the surgery, you want to hear about the success stories from real people and not just because he and or his/her office says so. Best of luck with this.

I had a very heavy prescription, in the 6's I believe, and was told I couldn't wear contact lenses anymore. I had the Lasik surgery about 12 years ago. I had the surgery and the very next day I could see almost perfectly. By one week, it was perfect. Still 20/20 now. The only problem I have had is some issues with dry eyes. Artificial Tears are a life saver. Lasik was the best decision and the best money I ever spent. Absolutely no regrets!

My sister had Lasik surgery about ten years ago. She was extremely farsighted in one eye, and extremely nearsighted in the other. Ever since her surgery, she's had 20/20 vision. She doesn't need glasses or contacts or anything. If you can afford it, then go for it. I'm sure you won't regret it. Good luck! :)
