There's a line which says,"its better to be trusted than to be loved. for trust matters most in all aspects". Would you agree?

hi, i would rather choose to be trusted,as you said trust matters most in all aspects, and to be loved will not work if no trust,so still trust should be.

I agree that trust matters most in all aspects but i don't agree in its better to be trusted than to be loved because love is also important. In a relationship trust is essential but it would not lasts long if you just trust that person and not love them. In fact i think that if you love someone, in time you will also learn to trust them.

i'd rather be trusted... to be loved is to be trusted.. to be trusted does not necessarily mean you're to be loved... although it is comforting and flattering to be trusted as it is something you would really appreciate in terms of being a person...

This is like Ms. Universe question that you can't even answer BOTH are important since it is already understood. But then I would preferred to be trusted because there might be a chance that to be loved would follow.

I want to be love, coz i think with love someone can to be trust, and with love must be to maintain the trust that someone love. so i think love more precious than trudt

Tough to choose. I say both are very important. However, it is possible to be trusted and not be loved. If you are loved, I think you also need to be worthy of being trusted.

I do think trust matters in a lot of ways, not with just boyfriend/girlfriends, but in relationships period. Family, friends and so on. So to answer your question I would rather have both, to be loved and to be trusted. If you can not trust someone, how much can you really love them? So I do understand that quote.

I prefer to be trusted. Once trust is broken then it is hard to be trusted again. Once People trusted you they will love you for who you are. Trust is essential in every relationship.

I think both are very important but I would say to be loved would be more important to me. If you don't have love, why do you care everyone trusts you? With love, I think you can accomplish anything and it gives you the confidence and stability to go forth with anything.I think you would get further in love being loved. I think this is more of a staple.

I'd like to be trusted. I've been in a relationship where in I wasn't trusted and it just sucks. A day never passes where there is no heated argument. I'd rather be trusted than be loved.

For long lasting relationship trust matters a lot because without trust how long one can carry the love for other. In general, lot of things happen in the relationship but its the trust that keeps the love going without any need for an explanation for a matter. But still if there is doubt on any matter, one needs to get it clarify with other but to accept once explanation on the matter requires a trust. On the whole A LOVE Without TRUST might fail in long run.
