I have always believed that laughter is the best medicine. That's why when I'm feeling down, I opt for watching funny movies and be with friends who seemed to radiate with positive energy. As they always say, laugh and the whole world will laugh with you, cry, and you'll cry alone. Works for me, how about you?

I would have to agree with you one hundred percent. Laughter is a grand thing as it does help us perk up our spirits when they are down in the lowest points. There are many times where I feel rather low and drab but a little bit of laughter goes well on the way of restoring my sanity to say the very least. There are times where an amusing situation can really brighten one of the darkest days that I have been having. Granted, its not the catch all situation for everything. However, it is the cure for many things. I think that we can agree that a few smiles, some laughter, can really put a smile on our face and hopefully that does spread to us. Still laughter can be contagious and it can help us really relax and be a little less tense, in a world that is very tense.

I agree with you that laughter is the cure for many things. Life is much happier and easier when you have a certain amount of humor. This gives you more confidence that, whatever happens, life goes on and must have a winning attitude in this endeavor. The humor is intelligent, optimistic, positive energy, and hope for better, why not accomplishments. It's good to form a habit, very good otherwise, to "take advantage" of our humor and others, in the sense that we could relax, unwind and entertain! And it's good to laugh as much, because life is too short to stay sad.

I also believe that too- laughter can cure almost anything.. It can heal friendships and brighten up anyone's mood. I also find crying helpful when i am down, since in crying we can let all our negative emotions out and feel refreshed and have a clearer mind after. So when I am feeling down i either watch sad movies or comedy.

Laughter is the best medicine and the cheapest. Today, many people forget the smile. I do not know to enjoy with so many worries, problems and prejudices, they forgot to leave his soul to breathe happiness and smile ... Comfort is the most beautiful smile that can bring the man beside him:) Humor is a quality you always look at people around me. Many believe that people are not equipped with genuine humor. My opinion is different, each of us must know when to be serious, when to escape many a joke, when to make fun of trouble. I like to laugh. This is a phenomenon 'proven'. I like good comedies, good jokes and make fun of trouble often. In vain are all sad and gloomy, not my time goes quickly, so "be happy, don 'worry!

Hi Azuncionne! Laughter really is the best medicine because as the reseachers say, the best way to combat stress is to watch movies that will make you laugh. It will relax your mind and spirit and therefore, unload you of some burden which may cause you to get sick. In other words, laughter can de-stress you. We can also laugh through reading comedy books or materials. So come on, let's laugh. :o

Yea, laughing always seems to cheer you up when you're down. It also burns calories, who knew.
