Dual-booting: Fedora with a Windows 7 64-bit

Has anyone here tried dual-booting a Fedora system with a Windows 7 64-bit? I'm planning to install Fedora Lovelock when it's finally released (full release) on my laptop and I want them both to work on one pc. My problem with Windows 7 was mine is a Home Basic, so no virtual machine has ever worked on this os. I've tried VirtualPC, VMware, VirtualBox, and many others but they are not all working. And so I planned to install Fedora. Any suggestions? I've already searched for how-tos, I'll just want to ask personally (well over the internet of course) if anyone has successfully done this? Thanks!
