OMG the cat claimed my bed for her new born kittens ..

so my cat just gave birth to two small cute kittens when she was doing it we put here in a box that we have for her to get birth in it and its been a week now and she was sitting in that box almost the whole time
so i kinds felt bad for her as she didn't stay anywhere for long time before that so i took the kids and put them on my bed so she can have more space and it was getting too hot in the box
so she was happy and every thing until it was bed time so i took the kittens to put them in the box again so i could go to bed and went to drink some water and when i got back to bed i saw them there all 3 of them there . she got them back to the bed cuz she liked it so much i tried to put them back in the box for like three times and every time she just left them and put them again on my bed

Awww sounds like she's claiming your bed as hers. Maybe she needs a bigger box and more cushion for her and her kittens. Mother cats don't like any activity or noise around her kittens and will move them often till she finds a warm and quiet spot.
Will you have the mother cat fixed when she weans her babies? I hope the babies too once they're old enough.... Isure hope so because we don't want to add to the over population when there's so many being put down because there isn't enough homes for them all.

Sweetie, you have your heart in the right place but there's cats and kittens of all kinds in shelters if someone wants one. Why do you want to continue breeding your cat when there's so many already in need of homes and because there aren't enough homes, they're being put to sleep. You're not helping the situation at all. Not only that but your cat will b subject to getting cervical cancer as well however, if she's fixed then she won't get it. Please reconsider! My husband and I have 12 cats and they're all fixed and so are our 5 dogs.

its stopped now thank god and she went to her bed but she kinda think that i work for her as in that sometimes she wants to get them back on my bed so she takes one and put it and lye next to him and keeps telling me to get the other one to her lol
i dont think iam going to get her fixed as lots of friends want cats and b4 she gets pregnant i try to look for homes in friends or family or something like that
so we got it covered

cats dont make noise when they give birth not like we do lol try to listen to a woman giving birth ......

Hey!Your bed is so much more comfortable than the box.And can you just imagine being cooped up in a box with two babies..lol..thats no fun.I just love cats.

well the box was just too hot for her i think with the tow babies .... that would be hell

Just make her a new bedroom using a bigger box...
and put a cushion so she will think that the same like ur bed...
or maybe she wants to trade bedroom with u perhaps? :))

i did get her i new bed and she like it . but yesterday when i was sleeping "it was like 5.30 pm and suddenly she jumped over me and then she left and then she came again which was weird cuz she never dose that so i woke up to see whats going on and find her getting her kittens on my bed right beside my arm and slept there so i just let her till the morning
and thank god i didnt squash any of the small kittens lol

Just when we think we have smething figured out when it comes to cats they turn around and surprrise. A new mother cat with newborn kittens is bound to do anything to protect and care for her young. If the cat wants your bed for her kittens, she will just take it no matter what.@killerbullet (174)

Oh,i can imagine how cute those kittens are.
I guess the mother cat knows best for her kittens (hahaha)
Get a bigger box and put some beddings to make it soft ,i am sure the mother cat won't moved her kittens anymore.

they are reallllly cute there eyes just opened today and both have blue eyes its very good and now i moved them into a small bed
