Who was worse? Hitler or stalin

In your mind who do you think was more evil? Please tell me why you think that person was more evil. I myself have to go with hitler although Stalin did kill more people hitler had more hatred in him. Hitler killed because of hate, Stalin killed for the better of Russia.
