I would like to know which bank you linked your PayPal with because I was planning to switch or open another account solely for PayPal purposes. Please give me some advise and also share your experiences.

hello belinda! i guess it's much better to open an account on unionbank which you can use eon card for transactions in paypal. i have read one member here who states that using BDo can charge you 250 pesos for withdrawing your money from paypal. which is not a good thing. not like in eon card, you'll be charged 50 pesos only. for me, earning online can be really hard and i only earn a little for mylot. so it's better to have eon instead. unless you have other sites to earn online with. so, 250 pesos is okay for you to let go.

Hello again! your name sounds familiar cause I have known one with that name. Though I have doubts if it was you. Well, I think she wan't you. So, you just had mylot as your only one site which you are earning? In that case, I agree with you cause 250 pesos is hard to earn in here, do you agree? Like you said it was a big money cause it's hard to earn online. But if you really are always posting in here you'll get that 250 in no time...

Hi anna.. Well, I don't have other sites other than mylot. So I think Eon is the best for me. Anyways, even though I have lots of earning sites, I can't still let go of my 250 pesos. It's still a big money.

Well, look me in the eyes... Do I look familiar then?? If yes, maybe it was me. hehe.. I am now having second thoughts on Eon, but the other banks have higher charges though. So, I'll still look for possible option. You're right that 250 pesos is so hard to earn here. I don't participate here that much because I only work on my computer for 2 hours a day. Distributed time for mail, facebook, browsing and mylot.

I am still weighing my options if I'll go for BPI or Union Eon Card. Currently, I am just saving my earnings in my Paypal account and just withdraw them in December to buy gifts. Anyway here is the link to Union Bank Eon Card. http://www.unionbankph.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=918&Itemid=256 There is no maintaining balance, however there is an annual fee of P350. Here is another useful discussion started by another Mylotter about how you link your bank account to your Paypal account. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2515298.aspx?p=2

Thanks for the info.. You said annual fee of P350?? Is there any way to skip that annual fee? How about for BPI? What's the advantages and disadvantages?

P350 is a big amount although it's annual. No other banks confirm their connection with Paypal like Union. I asked BDO before and they said they don't have any affiliate connection with Paypal to withdraw or transact money. So now, I am looking for the better bank. But knowing the annual fee, I'm having second thoughts.

Hi tinkerputt... Welcome to mylot...?? (...then I checked your profile, you were here 5 years ago) Almost all suggested Union Bank and I was just wondering what was the problem you encountered using it? So I can change my mind if ever. How much did it charge you withdrawing via China Bank?

oh really, I'll try Chinabank too. Presently, I'm using EON of unionbank. Its cheaper but you really have to wait for 3-5 business days. The other day I tried BPI and I was so scared after reading the forums about remittance because in BPI direct transfer is also considered as remittance. Many were complaining and they said that even you have the verification/swift number, it will took about less than a month to withdraw your money. So I immediately called the branch in Makati area where I have my account and I gave my swift number. I told them that I am scared and I really need that money for my daughter's tuition fee. The bank manager promise to do his best. And when I checked the next day through online banking, Thanks God it's already there but still they're 2 days left. According to my employer, it should be there in my account in 2-3 days time.

well i have used unionbank and have no problems linking my site. I have called their hotline on the bank codes and what to do to cashout. unionbank was the first or one of the first to introduce a way for us to use paypal. And the eon card is really made use just for paypal.

I used EON Unionbank account as well because if you are below Php 7,000 you would be only charge Php 50 while in other account like BDO you would be charge as Php 250. So better to create EON bank account.

thank you so much for starting this discussion belinda and thank you also metatronik for the info. If ever I will reach the pay out in the websites where I am earning money, I will then link my paypal account to a unionbank eon account. I guess it is the cheapest and most practical thing to do :)

I linked my pay pal to union bank "EON CARD" i only experience when , i register to to eon and i don't know that the transaction password in transferring money via eon account is important i forgot my transaction password so i file my resetting my pin i went to the bank and asked and told me to call or e mail costumer service i had a hard time to get back there answer in email them 3 times, i look also at the facebook,i waited for 4 days and a costumer service reply he asked some question and i answer them so i waited again for 5 days, they send me a copy and told me to reset my transaction password , in my observation union bank has a low responsive feed back, many people are mad about there services.

I linked mine via BDO but I haven't made any transactions yet. I will try EON as many lotters say it's good. I just wish your problem won't happen to me.

Like most of the response here, I also linked my Paypal with Union Bank's EON card. It's user friendly and hardly encounter a hassle. So I advise you that you should go to the nearest Union Bank now and have yourself enrolled/apply an EON card. =)

Ye, I've heard lots of advantages from Union Bank but I'm still undecided. Is there P350 annual fee?

The best thing you can do is link you paypal to Union Bank's eon card. I have been using it for quite some time now and there's no hassle in it unlike using other bank and the fees are cheaper than other banks.

It does not matter which bank. Your local savings bank would be fine. All PayPal needs is the routing number and account number of a checking account. Nothing more. Do not stress it. You could also open a new account in your current bank.

I have linked mine with UnionBank EON. I don't have credit cards, so EON is the best alternative. Metrobank, BPI and BDO, when I inquired about Paypal linking in their customer feedback form last year, replied that they don't offer such services and they have not yet tied up with Paypal.

I guess, yes, among all the other banks, Eon is the best bank to link my PayPal with. I asked BDO before and you're right, they don't know whether they have agreed terms of service with PayPal. Glad Eon has. Thanks!
