Chrome Problems

The Google Chrome browser comes with Adobe flash player built in, supposedly. Of course, every time the flash player is updated, my chrome browser starts having problems. It is very frustrating. I like to use Chrome for my PTCs and most everything else I do online. It's faster than Firefox and I like the layout better than IE. Unfortunately, it has more bugs than you can shake a stick at! Recently my flash player was updated and suddenly I could no longer log into my PTC sites or get the timers to work on the ads! When I went to my email, I could not open any emails! I tried everything I could think of...cleaned my registry, restored my system to the day before, cleaned off my browsing history...nothing worked! So now I am back to using Firefox. My question is, O my computer geek friends out there, is there anything I can do short of reinstalling Chrome?

Yes, I have tried everything. It's just easier to switch browsers! I fear I'm going to have to reinstall in order to get it to work.

Well reinstalling chrome is only about a 5 minute process (5 to 15 for some). But I use chrome everyday, without issues even when adobe updates. Reinstall it, but I also recommend making sure you're using the latest (non beta) version.

It's good that you have your nephew to help with your computer. I have to admit that I have had a lot of trouble with Chrome, especially with the adobe flash player that is installed in it! I do like a lot of the features on it but the problems are just more than they are worth.
