Is Democracy REAL?

F.Y.I. We live in a REPUBLIC...Not a Democracy. Thats a known fact. "I pledge allegiance to the Flag,and to the Republic for which it stands". If the Republic has allowed the house to seperate into different parties like Democrats or the Green Party and Republicans...is it just a security measure to keep the people divided to minimize the threat of a civil revolt. You see in communism there is 1 Dictator, it is easy for the people to come to a concensus and work together to over throw the parties that be. BUT keep the people divided...and you got nothing to worry about...Your Government...SPeak On It!
