which is better laptop or tablet?

if you will use it for business and personal things,I would recommend you to buy a laptop. with a laptop you can do a lot if things that a tablet can't do and it is easier to use that a tablet.

I think lap top is better because mobile viruses are hard to remove and security also will be questioned. Laptop can store moe and will be easy on eyes too if u r married to the internet that is.

I think laptops are nice but I guess we have to look at the changing technology and tablets are definitely becoming the in thing now! This also depends on what you want to use your device for whether it be a laptop or a tablet. As I understand it tablets are still fairly recent but they will become more and more powerful over the years with lots of extra added features. I like the tablet in so far as it's light and it has touch screen capability. This is so convenient for your everyday user. I have an apple ipod touch! This isn't exactly a tablet although I do love it's touch screen features. I'm thinking of upgrading to the apple ipad though and this is quite a popular tablet device. I think before you make any kind of decision as regards what to go for you definitely have to carry out research and I wish you luck with that. Andrew

well there are laptops with touchscreens so you can use them as a tablet of some sort. But personally i think tablets are just oversized smart phones. You can't add any windows pc based programs. Tablets have some sort of function but a laptop can do it much better. The only pro of tablets is that it is much more convenient and light.

Hi rosie, welcome to myLot. Hm....Laptop or tablet....depends on what you are going to use it for. I like my laptop better as the screen is better, easier to do everything and more storage. I have lots of my kids pictures, and with the rest of the things that I store in my laptop, a tablet will not be able to store all those. But I also love the tablet for its convenience to be carried around everywhere. I have tried my friend's ipad for three days, and I have to say that I love it. I still prefer to use a laptop whenever possible, but with an ipad, I can browse while lying down in bed, and it's easy to take it wherever you go. If you are on the go always, I would suggest tablet. If not, a laptop. If I can afford it, I would love to have both.
