Girlfriend/Boyfriend payback!

Ok so my brother's best friend who is in his mid twenties calls up my brother all frantically. Her had broken up with his girlfriend a couple of week earlier and while he was at work last week, she came over and took his dog which he had had since he was fourteen. He had been trying to get it back all week and he received a call from one of her friends saying that she had the dog put down because she didn't want it anymore. This is possibly one of the harshest break up pay backs I have ever seen. So the question is what have you done or has someone done to you or a friend to hit back at them after breaking up with them/ cheating/ what ever it may be?
