Can you swim without using goggles?

How do you handle yourself in swimming pool or even beaches when you are doing your swimming routine? Like for example if you are doing the free style, breaststroke and butterfly stroke how could you do that even there is no goggles at all? Isn't it is irritating in to your eyes when you must open it under the water or when you have to turn your whole face into the water? I tried to practice swimming or just put my eyes in the water without goggles but seems that I can't really make it. I tried but it irritates me easily that is why I can't really swim without goggles. I think the only thing I can do is back stroke if that is the case.

hi, yes i can swim without using goggles,and one of my favorite games is finding a coin under the water,an enjoyable game,even at the sea,i can swim without goggles but not for long because of salty taste of it.

But how is it? Isn't it is very irritating in eyes when you are swimming without goggles under the sea? I haven't tried that but at least in swimming pool I've already tried to swim without goggles.

you can swim without opening your eyes but you will bump anything in front. hahaha

That is the thing that I am not doing because most of the time when I am doing my swimming routine I usually look down.

I can but it irritates my eyes if the water is full of chlorine or dirty.

I think that is the reason that my eyes are easily irritates is just because of the water that is full of chlorine.

Hi there Meta! I cant swim without goggles. This is because i have very poor eyesight.

I haven't approach the doctor regarding my eyesight as well but then I can't still swim without the goggles. Not unless if I am just doing the floating like lying on bed and backstroke.

Yes friend I can swim without goggles because I not swim more time. Not my eyes feel bad..

What do you mean you are not swim more time? I mean you don't swim often?
