When you are feeling sad or low, what kinds of things help you feel better? Do your feel hopeful? How do you get yourself out of your funk?

I usually go to my room and lay down, and pray. Thinking about good things, how good is God to me on how He make all things possible. If I am with my nephews and nieces I play with them. It makes me forget my problem. Sometimes, I sing and read the Bible or write something on my pad.

Welcome, It can get worse then this. Actually, I like to talk to my husband. He is truly a great sounding board. But now that I think about it, sometimes he falls to sleep while I'm talking to him. Sometimes I will go shopping and buy some new clothes. That always make me feel better for a short time. Just until I get home and realize how much money I spent. Best Wishes!

Hi Chicken! When I am down, I pray and give my worries to Jesus. I agree with one of your commenter, thinking of the good things that happened to our lives makes us feel blessed. Especially if we will count the blessings. It is really abundant and overflowing.

When i am at my lowest, i pray. It helps me to control my sadness and i try very hard to focus on the positive aspects of my life. Then after praying i usually call my family then my friends and spend time with the closest friends i have. And eventually the sadness will be overpowered by the support i get from my family and friends and the strength from the Almighty Father.

Talking about what is bothering me with friends and family that i care about feel safe with and trust. Also going to the gym. The endorphins work wonders and it always makes me feel better afterwards.
