Do you favor one of your pets over another?

Sometimes one pet has more positive traits than another one. It seems like both of mine have things about them that I like and things that bug the heck out of me. One is more easygoing, which is nice, but he makes a mess of everything. My other dog is smart and small and is pretty well-mannered. I like them both, but my spouse only likes one of them. I wonder if other people have the same feelings.

I love all of the cats I have collected over the years. But, I have an especially close bond with my "Sandy", who has been here the longest. If there is any kind of a problem, like a food shortage, I will make sure Sandy gets fed first. If the weather is bad I will worry about Sandy more than the others, even though I know that Sandy is very well able to take care of himself.

It's awful, but yes I do. I have two dogs and I love them both dearly. Patches was my first dog...and he is a grouch. Most of the time he doesn't want me to have anything to do with him...but he has his moments where all he wants to do is cuddle and play. I wish he was like that more often. He doesn't do tricks...he can, he just won't. He is as stubborn as they come. Then there is Ringo. This boy will do tricks and cuddle and play all day long. He is so sweet...the polar opposite of Patch. So, yes, I do favor Ringo over Patches...but most of the time Patch seems to like it that way. He gets all of his attention from my grandfather.

Well, I do think that we can sometimes choose one pet over another one just due to their personalities. I personally have one horse that I prefer over all of our others. He is a rather large quarter horse/ Arabian mix and he is just much more trusting and gentle than the others. We have our trail horses that are great horses, but I just really like this one better than the others. His name is Tyson and he is my favorite!

different pets have different personalities, sometimes you may spend longer time with the other or like the personality of another but it does not necessarily mean that you favor one over the other. you just learn to deal with their different personalities.

I love both my pets and try to do it equally, but sometimes I tend to prefer my rabbit Snowball over Diamond, my other rabbit, because Snowball can be more friendly, goofy and outgoing, and Diamond can be more shy, reserved and calm/serious.
