I have been participating on online "paid" surveys. But by pay they mean after you fill out the survey you get entered in a sweepstakes where you could win money. I've been doing it for about a year and have never won anything. But no I don't think they're fake. I think the list of winners are real.

I don't know for sure, but I kind of think they are just a way to get your information and sell it and send you junk mail, i don't really think there are any prizes available...depends on what sites though...there are legitimate sites, like expedia, disney..those kinda sites..then there are the sites that seem to exist solely for the purpose of signing people up for things....

I never signed up to any of the internet contest really but my hubby did and he won as well, he won 50£ worth of cash vouchers in one of the stores here in the UK then a holiday trip. And we really received the prize and used them.

actually I have one one time, it was from doing a survey and I was entered in to win anywhere from 5 to 100 dollars, I won $10.00 and I got it after I had canceled from taking the surveys, since then I have rejoined but it was not easy at all....it was actually quite crazy...
but yes I have one in a contest, I also one an ipod but I was not willing to provide all my information online without knowing who I was giving it to. So I think they can be real but luck has to be on your side. I wish I was a lucky person and could win like $10,000 or something.
