In what country will you hide if you are hunted by your local authorities?

Lets say that you did a criminal record. The local authorities is going to file an arrest warrant to you. The punishment for your offense is 35 to 40 years of imprisonment. You have the chance and money to go abroad before the police could find you. Where will you go? Are you going to disguise as another person? What are your plans? Are you going to live like everything's ok? Share your thoughts..

First, I'd avoid the situation by not doing a crime in the first place. If that couldn't be avoided, I'd face up to my crime. If that can't be helped (prison life is not something that any person would want) then I'd run to a neutral country, and one that has no extradition treaty with my country. An extradition treaty is an agreement between to countries where the foreign country agrees to surrender a fugitive of the other country. And then, assume a totally different life, like I'd really live far away from civilization. But then, even if I succeed in doing this, I know that everything will not be okay, and my sins will one day catch up on me.
