How to find writing clients online?

Hey all, I had been trying to take up writing assignments and freelancing writing jobs on the internet for private clients that would pay me for article writing services. However, I had been having trouble lately when it comes to finding a client that would hire me for article writing services. So, I just wanted to get some tips or feedbacks on how to find clients that would need my services, since I am pretty confident there are several clients out there that need content writers. Thanks all, will appreciate your feedback on this matter or tips, if any.

Have you tried oDesk? There seem to be many article writing jobs there. They may not pay as much as you would like to start, but it would be better than nothing and might lead to a better job. Good luck!

I have heard a lot about odesk but haven't gotten around to joining it yet. I will look it up and see what I can find there. Appreciate the suggestion
