Our Own share of Visita Iglesia

Yesterday my family and I had our own share of Visita Iglesia. Visita Iglesia is derived from Spanish Language which means "Church Visits". It is traditionally practiced every Maundy Thursday to visit several different churches. It actually started in Rome where the pilgrims asked for penance as they visit seven pilgrim churches. Some Filipinos make the seven churches into fourteen and say the station of the cross with one station in each cross. We have visited seven different churches yesterday, from the following different locations, Ligao City, Oas, Polangui, Nabua, Naga, Iriga and Baao. How about you? Do you also practice this tradition?
