What makes you to deny things?

I have come across many such situations where people denied instead accepting the fact. I do understand that all human beings have got that denial instinct in them just like other human instincts, but, sometimes, that denial would cost so big to the other person who is denied. Has anyone faced such a denial? You are welcome to share your thoughts please.

Denying is also a part of our life. We are just humans, we are not perfect that's why we commit mistakes. There are many reason why people denies the fact, it only depends on the situation. Sometimes people deny the embarrassing moment of her life. Some people do it for their own sake and purpose.

If you're gonna be general about it I'm not gonna understand what exactly about denial you're talking about. All I can say is a person denies because it's either he/she has a reason or the information being forced into him/her isn't true.

That is part of living. No one will admit their faults even if it costs others heavily. After all charity begins at home as they say. That is when people are taken to court to seek justice. Atleast there is a justice system in place.

i've seen so many denials for my opinions, but i've always take it an ease, because i know people want to be the right one, people want their view accepted, and people will get rid of any chalangers that opposite their opinions. and as long as they're not insult me, it was a piece of cake to ignore 'em.
