Hi all, I have been using Avira anti-virus for past one year. I think it's cleaning up well but not all the viruses are eradicated. I have had the experiences of using AVG, Kaspersky and Avira but I feel of all the above, AVG is the best one. But I feel like it slows down the overall system performances. Have anyone had those kind of experiences with AVG ? Is there any way to get rid of it and improve my system performance.

I have been using Avg for years now and i dont have any problems with it.So for me it is the best free anti-virus.As for the paid version goes i would rather prefer Kaspersky or Norton.

Try Avast! I've been using it for three years and it's always detected, deleted and sometimes repaired every infected file I put into my poor computer. The best thing about it is that it doesn't slow the computer down as many other antiviruses do... I have a seven years old computer and it works great with Avast installed. AVG is good, but it actually uses much more memory than other software... not to mention the old versions of Norton... I almost killed my computer when I installed it! :)
