Why does children loves fried chicken?

When you ask a child what is his/her favorite food, the common answer is fried chicken". Even me as a child, I always love it. My daughters could live just by eating fried chicken everyday that sometimes we tell them that they would have feathers, the same way that live chicken do. Maybe the crunchiness and at the same time still juicy flavor of the fried chicken? It's not the breading/coating because they still want it even without it.
What do you think guys?

I really love fried chicken even when I was still a kid. What I love about the chicken is its taste. The taste is really memorable and it goes along with ketchup or other seasonings! The coating is really crunchy and nice too. Without it, the taste is even the same! Chicken is the food that I would never go bored of!

Hi. r3jcorp. My kids also love fried chicken wings too. When my son was five years old, he would always come back home from Head Start School asking me if I could make some barbecue chicken. Apparently he had this for lunch at school one day and he wanted me to cook this for dinner. I thought that this was so cute!
I guess the reason why kids love eating fried chicken, is because it is tasty and crunchy. It is fried just like french fries are.

yeah, fried chicken is delicious. But, if your daughters eat it every day that's not good for her health. I like eat fried chicken too.. but only once a week.. :)

my favorite food is fried chicken as well. i have a theory that many kids enjoy foods that there parents would cook often for there supper, so i dont think they that its their favorite because of taste but rather that they like it because its what they are used to eating

Perhaps the children love fried chicken because chicken is definitely the most popular meat children eat. It is very delicious, and many finger foods like chicken nuggets, chicken fingers, and chicken tenders are made from it. The juicy flavor is definitely the key. I remember as a child, I always loved eating at Kentucky Fried Chicken.
