Any DVD recommendations?

I hadn't bought any new dvd's for a while but have an amazon voucher and I am looking for some new dvds of films I have not seen for a while or not seen at all. Any recommendations?

What kind of movies do you actually prefer? I've got lots of good movie list, But I dunno if you're gonna like it, some of it are not US/UK movies.

I saw a good french film a while back which I would like to get on DVD but I can't remember the name of it.

What types of movies are you into? Horror, Drama, Action? If your into recent good movies id say Inception. Im more in touch with "old school" movies myself. I could probably help you out more in that regard.

I'm into all sorts of films, I already have Inception on DVD, I am looking for that type of film and also films that didn't necessarily do so well at the box office but were critically acclaimed.

I guess it would depend on what kind of movies you like. My wife just rented the Switch last week she thought it was OK. Inception is pretty good if you like movies that are a bit confusing. Life As We Know it is pretty decent romantic comedy if you like those kinds of movies. We just watched the Harry Potter that just came out on DVD and thought that was kind of boring unfortunately.
