Which is the best Processor? AMD vs Intel (2010)?

Hello,
I'm buying a laptop soon and I'm interested in a good processor in the laptop since it's integrated. I was going to buy a AMD laptop because I trust them but a lot of people been telling me that Intel's i7 processor is the best on the market. Is this true and if not then what is the best overall processor? If it is then what makes it the best? Thanks for any responses.

I believe that Intel is better than AMD...I have AMD but I haven't opportunity to choose. I would choose Intel. There's not a very big difference between them, I think that Intel is just a little bit in front if AMD. Good luck for choosing.
