Why should I or others be coerced into a religion because I applied to a Uni.

Its such a wonderful experience when I chat with someone in a Moslem University and he was saying that I have to be a Moslem or converted to be admitted...whereas I see them go to Christian university without been told or coerced into such...is it right? or its just permissible for them?

Hmm, you could check your country's constitution/laws about that. Here in the Philippines, Article 3 of our Constitution's Bill or Rights is about freedom of religion. I went to a Catholic school and our school accepted any student of any religion. The school does tell them to respect the Catholic activities in the school such as masses and so on. Non-Catholics are asked to attend masses for the sake of attendance and keeping the students in school but not to convert them in any way. I hope this helps a bit, have a nice day.

The constitution of my country says almost the same thing and one could interact with no fear in my region in my country...but am not in my country now...
