Misconceptions of North Korea

As many people may know, North Korea is a communist country that has threatened to jeopardize the world with nuclear weapons. That's is all most people know about North Korea. It is normal for these individuals to believe that all of North Korea is wicked and evil. That is wrong. The wicked and evil is the government, led by Kim Jong Il, a tyrant, if I may say so myself. Kim Jong Il controls the poor country of North Korea and does as he pleases. He tries to isolate North Koreans from the outside world, keeps all money to himself, and enforces laws with a merciless military. The citizens of North Korea are innocent! Do not get this mixed up. North Koreans are no different from you and I. So next time you hear about North Korea, don't of a vile country as a whole, but a country with a corrupt, inept leader.

I am very keen on traveling to different countries. I have been to more than fifty different countries. Some counties are hard to get into and that would include North Korea. I haven't ever been to North Korea. I have talked to people that have been to South Korea. I know that some North Korean people live in China and are scared to be found and sent back to North Korea. I saw this on a documentary and a part of China can see North Korea. It is near the North Korea border. You think the local people are friendly and the North Korean government are harsh. I know that North Korea is a communist country in which most of the people are quite poor. Corruption is horrible and I don't like nuclear weapons.

Why does china need to send north korean back to their country? They are also only of the evil thing. North korean dont want to be part of the miserably life in their country that's why some went to china to feel the freedom and a happy life. China should let them stay especially if those korean are not doing anything bad in china.

All the people in north korea are poor? How can the government become rich when all of his people are poor. How can they produce money? What a pity country.

As with most countries, the residents of the country have no control over their government. It may have started out OK, but as time goes on the Government becomes more and more corrupt and evil. The leaders think only of their own agenda. The people of North Korea are suffering horribly.
This is happening all over the world. Peoples of many countries are being held hostage by their leaders. Many are revolting, but they will only be taken over by even worse groups when all is said and done.
Even my own country is being held hostage by a corrupt president. He has decided that he can kill our own citizens without trials or judicial trials just because he has decided to call them terrorists. We do not know if this is true. We do not know his criteria. We do not know that if we write something on the net we will be put on the list too.

You are right, It is common for people to judge, like jumping into conclusion without even knowing the truth, it's like they're stereo typing or a stereo type.
If you don't have any idea on what are you gonna say, then just shut it, say nothing. people ending up misjudging the whole North Koreans. tsk tsk..
If you can't love them, then at least respect them, with that we can avoid criticism or something harmful. LOL :)
