what did you always dream of being when you were little?

It's interesting..I don't remember ever dreaming of being any particular profession. I never thought about this before your question. I have heard many share and I remember asking my kids what they wanted to be, but personally I don't think I ever had any particular wish. I started thinking about a career when I went to college. I wonder how many others are like me :)

When i grow up i wanted to be a teacher someday, a line that i always repeat everytime our grade school teacher would ask us what we wanted to be. But it was 15-20 years ago and i haven't been a teacher in profession, although i wanted something else now, but still i wanted to be a teacher, good thing that i am a gospel teacher in the church i can still teach although i am not a professional teacher .

always dreamed of being a veterinarian but things just did not work out that way. there was no need for another vet where i live and i did not have the opportunity to go to school for that subject.

When Iw as young, I dreamed to become and architect. I always wish to become and one. I can imagine myself designing a building and have it stood before the eyes of many. But I end up teaching computer in high school. :-)

Well when i was small i always dreamed of being a pilot. But as things kept changing in life my intentions started to be more deeper and as i did my studies still currently studying iam currently perusing financial planning program i never thought i would be in this field. It was God that showed the way and had some different plans

Hi misc11, I was wishing to become an astronaut. I use to glare at the sky wondering those beautiful stars and moon. I feel as if I will rocket and land there and put my country flag.

Tought of being a teacher. then alo a nure. Ainging and acting ere alo thing i anted to do. Atill have thoe dream today.

I wanted to be an engineer. I was very interested in how things worked and created. But later I found out I was terrible in math. Also I got more interested in business. So the idea of becoming engineer just slipped away from my head. I am happy that I did not go towards that direction. Engineering is too narrow as a major. It would have not allowed me to try something else.

I used to dream being a story writer because I had a lot of imagination when I was a kid. I think I still have that now, but I have never finished my story until now. In my opinion, only a few people can be what they'd like to be in this world

When I was growing up I always wanted to be a Doctor, As I got older things changed my father got cancer, As soon as he got Cancer My "Mom". If you can call her that I have not talked to her in years just got up one day and left us. Really took us to the bank on the divorce too, She lied about a whole lot of things. We were forced to sell our house. Which took us almost 2 decades to get the money together to pay for. She never worked, Until She Decided she was moving out.. She kept the whole thing a secret.. Had an apartment. was having an affair with a co-worker, Who I hear they later got married, Then I heard they broke up who knows. Its always very difficult around Holidays, I have grown to really despise them because I see how they effect my disabled Brother. She never sends him a card or a gift or anything. We take care of my Brother absolutely great, Whatever he needs we get him even if it means my father and I have to do without. Sorry For the Rant Guys.. Just a little depressed with Easter Coming up and everything. I enjoy posting and being on the computer at night so I can totally be alone ya know what I mean? Anyways the Idea of being a Doctor became just a pipe dream, A Pharmacy Technician would be great. You should ABSOLUTELY GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND BECOME A TEACHER, LIVE YOUR LIFE... THAT IS YOUR DREAM AND I THINK YOU SHOULD YOU SHOULD DEF. GO FOR IT! YOU GOT MY SUPPORT IF THAT MEANS ANYTHING. hello, When I was a kid, I have a lot of things to do in life like being a teacher a doctor, and the worst is being a the president? ha ha sounds funny? right? but it is true i dreamed because that is a part of my childhood days. But now that I grown up i realize that I that is not really my field I mean that is not what I wanted to be?, complicated but now I am taking bachelor of science in information technology. far from my dreamed when I was a kid? but it is my footstep to become successful in life. good luck to you

Being from India it should not surprise anyone that I wanted to be a cricketer when I was a kid.Infact it is the dream of majority of Indian kids even now.However the dream never ever sticked on to any particular job sometimes I have dreamed of being an army pilot a doctor and a lot of other stuff.
