Dollar Stores

There are several Dollar Stores around here, Dollar Tree, 99 cent store, Dollar General, and some other ones that say on the outside everything for a $!.00 but when you go inside it is not true except for the Dollar Tree is everything is a dollar, but if you go in the Dollar General there are things in there that I have seen up to $30.00 and some higher this to me is not a dollar store! I think this is false advertising would you agree?

I agree with that. I only like to go to Dollar tree because I know everything is really only 1 dollar and it has a lot of things, I especially like to shop kitchen wares and greetings card in it, very cheap deal for them. We have a dollar store around and it is not a dollar store at all, it is just a lot of second hand junk stuff for selling cheaply.

I like the Dollar Tree here because like you said everything in there really is only a Dollar.

Many dollar store outlets are discount shopping stores. they are not always about being under the dollar mark in price. they are just less expensive than some other chains. dollar stores can be easier on the budget than some of the bigger department stores. Economy has a way of making us choose these smallers stores over the bigger ones.

GUess if they can get away with it, they will. THe ones I go to if it isn't a dollar it is less. Often the candy is less than a dollar, but nothing is ever higher. I love my dollar store. I have never gone in without buying something! I have really tried to buy just specific things, but can't pass the bargains of things i know I want,need, use...just not this week! And the "office supply" stuff...tablets, pens, sticky notes, notebooks, paper...that is my favorite isle! I hope it never changes!

Yeah I have seen stores like that...
My dollar tree is everything is $1 but stores that is $1 and up or something then I don't go to them. I don't get it... everythings a $1 but how come there are stuff that is more.

I know right? It makes me so mad but I will go to other Dollar stores besides the Dollar tree because they have some things that the Dollar Tree doesn't have but I am angry when I walk in the door because I say they need to change their name because very few things are a Dollar!! L.O.L.
