dates are good for anemia.

i know this dates are good in anemia coz it has lot of vitamins and minerals and fibers. however one of ma tamil friend told me about date syrup which helps to reduce weight and fats he told me to drink one glass of lukewarm milk added date syrup every morning empty stomach. i know it gives lot of energy but this was new for me. now i am going to try this as ma friend told me that this has been used in tamilnadu since long time he told me his grandmother was giving him this while he was a child and he was very fat. friends if u have any idia about this pls discuss that with me i would be thankful to all of you.

i don't know about this fruit, i might see if they have them around here i have anemia as well, and i am taking iron vitamin rich in ferrous sulfate for it.

hi ritzz07 i know this do you remember while we were in intermediate we had one entire chapter on this dates........i learn this that time and dates are my favorite yummmmmm trully i like dates too much...... ritzz one thing about dates i would like to tell you here that if you have a acidity problem eat 4-5 dates you will get realif from acidity and these dates are really good for digestive system.....

Wonderful information, ritzz. I used to have anemia and have taken iron supplements for it which helped me. I don't have anemia anymore. I will certainly remember to take dates in case I get anemia.

Yes,you are right that the dates are good in anemia and helpful in other disorders also. Eating 4-5 dates daily will makes the man physically very powerful. However, washing the dates with the water is necessary.

I didn't know this, but I know that dates are high in potassium as well. I only found out about them last year. I love how they taste. They're very chewy and moist, and I have yet to try it in milk but it sounds delicious. I saw some snack recipes using dates, mixing them with coconuts and cashews. You can do many things with them! As for the weight loss, I think it could be because they are high in dietary fiber right? Fibers help reduce cholesterol and make you feel full.
