Do you mean throughout history? Some are Isaac Newton, Johannes Kepler, Tycho Brahe Galileo Galilei, Pythagoras, Aristotle, Socrates, and Plato.
Pythagoras created the pythagorean theorem, which is the formula for triangles, a squared + b squared = c squared. This was very important to science and technology because people were able to use the formula to make buildings, and derive distances for traveling.
Socrates was a philosopher and he contributed to science because he encouraged people to question everything and to think.
Plato came after, and he contributed a unified understanding of the universe. That is where the concept of platonic forms comes from. it is the idea that there is perfection beyond our understanding of things.
I think it was Aristotle who made classifications that are relevant to biology. He was a disciple of Plato.
The more modern scientists are Galileo and Newton, who contributed to our understanding of force and gravity. Kepler and Brahe made discoveries about the planets. Brahe created one of the most accurate telescopes so that people could make accurate measurements of the stars.
