Am I Behind?

Most of my batchmates, classmates and friends are already on their way to success. I admit I felt envy knowing that I am so much behind from them. They already had stable job abroad, others are well paid and some had settle already settle down for good. Compaired to me I am still searching for a job right now, it's been quite a while that I am unemployed. Like them, I also wish to be successful in my career, like them I wanted to experience working abroad and earning much better than here, like them I wnated to try living a life with full of mixed emotions. They get tired in their work, they felt happy when after receiving their paycheck, they enjoy bonding and outing with co-workers and friends, they felt sad away from their families and a whole lot more. I really want to experience those too. I'm sure I'll have my own time though I don't have any idea when, how far from now or is it still possible? Huh! It comes in a mysterious way...

Not really behind, your colleagues are just slightly ahead of you since their time of success is already happening while ours is still yet to come. Everything happens at the right time and place, we will just have to wait for that time to happen. In God's time you will also reach what the others have and may even reach more.

You didn't mention how long you have been unemployed. The others have offered sound advices. I'll try to add some, too, but in the end, it is always your decision what to do in your life. Don't despair when you fail. Don't wallow on defeat. Don't worry too much about the future. Today has enough troubles of its own. Here's a nice quote from Norman Isaac, Comics Section, Manila Bulletin (April 28, 2011): "Worry does not empty tomorrow of its troubles, but it does empty today of its strength." Your time will come. Just don't get tired trying. You can also post your educational attainment, your qualifications, skills and strengths. Who knows, there may be someone here in mylot who can help...

Hi christine Don't feel this way sweetie everyone does things in life at different paces. Some quicker while others faster. The point of it is that you do so on your terms and that you are happy with the results. No point in rushing because of some personal deadline, in which later you end with regrets. You are still quite young and have plenty of time to sort and organize and proceed until the end.

Sometimes in life we feel that way but the reality is you are still that lucky, you know why? there's a lot of people down behind your situation has less opportunity and unable to obtain what you have now. Look above is not good for any one without effort of doing so. I mean if we are wanted to do a goal we have to set our self about it. planning, preparation and approach of what we are trying to achieve is the best way of it. If they can do it, God knows you can too. That if you are sincere of what you have in mind. To have friends, bonding and paycheck will follow. God bless

Hi! Everyone is different and you should not feel disappointed that you are unable to get the job of your choice. It will take some time before you get the desired job. Please keep your hopes alive and work hard towards your goals. My best wishes are with you.

Your biggest problem is you are comparing yourself to others. Be independent and achieve what you want to achieve AT YOUR PACE. I remember I started walking when I was 12 months old but my brother was 18 months but today he is the most successful in our family. Your time has yet to come. Good Luck to you.

You know the loneliest people in this world are those who always comparing themselves to others. Stop comparing yourself and count all the blessings that you receive everyday, even the smallest thing. You pray that you will be blest. I'm sure you will be blest by God. Each one is unique. Your friends have their own lives. You will have your own also. Pray and pray.

Be optimistic, thou shall not lose hope. Like you I don't have work yet, still doing some job hunting thing. But I believe in due time God will provide a job that suites me. Have faith in him, this is not yet our time to experience such things. Everything that is happening to you right now has a purpose and a reason so while waiting for that opportunity enjoy what you have right now.
