Sometimes I wonder who is the mom and who is the baby!

I have chronic back pain and have been unable to sit down on the floor for even a very short while. But I do sometimes when my daughter is playing or doing some work with her books and stuff. When I find it difficult to get up again, she extends her chubby little hands in support and asks me to hold them and get up slowly without hurting my back. All I can do is look at her and fall in love with her all over again. I guess she becomes the mother sometimes to pamper me. Just a small tribute to all the little angels out there like my daughter.

Hi. devijay78. That is so precious! So adorable! Your daughter loves you so much and she cares about you and your health. I think that is wonderful that she helps you to get up. Sometimes when my back hurts me my son will ask me if I am okay. If I need some help, he will come over and pull my arm so that I can get up properly. You have a little angel right here, take care of her!

Yes, it is so nice. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I know that this is so very exciting to you and your son! You have a very sweet son that loves you and he also adores you. You are his mom and he treasures every moment that he spends with you. My son is my first born so he will always makes sure that he looks out for his mommy. He went on a field trip on Tuesday to pick strawberries. And as soon as he got off his school bus, he opened up his book bag and he has a grocery bag. In this bag, was a plastic container full of strawberries. He told me that he told his teacher that his mommy loves strawberries and that he was going to pick me some. He was so very happy to show me the strawberries that he had picked. He was so eager to share them with me. My son is so sweet! Your son is an absolutely kind and precious little boy. I know that you are proud of him. It is so wonderful to have such sweet relationships with our children. I wish for all of our kids to love us with all of their little precious hearts! Be Blessed!

Hi cream. Your son seems to be so caring too. It is so nice to see so many moms sharing that special bond with their kids. She is extra caring now that she knows that I am pregnant. And the love she shows her unborn sibling is visible to everyone present. Hope it continues even after the child is born. And yes, that is exactly how my daughter helps me when I struggle to get up or do any work. Lovely kids. God bless them.

She is indeed an angel devijay. I think you are both lucky to have each other.

Sorry for the late response. She is indeed an angel and the devil who makes me pull out my hair in frustration sometimes. But I don't know what I would do without her. I cannot imagine a life without her.

My daughter is like that too, she loves to oil my hair and braid them with her tiny little hands, even though it hurts a lot at times I don't say anything because I just love the feel of her chubby little hands rubbing my temples and going through my hair. Daughters are probably like that and its really nice feeling. Even I keep feeling may be she is my mom and I am the daughter...

Hi mansha. My daughter does that too for me. And I do not say no too, even thought it hurts sometimes. We share a special bond and for me that is more precious than anything else. She does take care of me and yes, sometimes, she is the mother and I the daughter. It is lovely to hear that you share such a bond with your daughter too. Take care of her and she will take care of you later on too. God bless both of you.

Yes Jaiho. I always had her best interests at heart and never even thought of anything else other than her when I was facing a lot of problems in my married life. She is still closest to me than her father and even though I do not encourage her to be partial, it gives me a sort of happiness that she has understood intutively that I need her more. She is my little angel.

Awwww!!!! That is so sweet! This is perhaps the best tribute a mother can give her daughter. I love this: All I can do is look at her and fall in love with her all over again. I hope that years from now she'll be able to read what you wrote here about her! I am not a parent yet, but friends tell me that at the end of the day, no matter how bad that day was, you go home and the sight of your child just melts all the bitterness of the day away.

Hi gloryacam. My daughter is my mom sometimes. I regret it when I have to discipline her or scold her sometimes. She gives such a hurt look and tears start rolling down her cheeks that makes me feel so bad. But then, when I apologise, she has a big enough heart to forget what happened and forgive me. It makes me feel more miserable. Well, it is all part of mothering I guess. I just hope she has the same feelings for me when she grows up and becomes a teenager and more. I would hate to not be her favourite person.

So very sweet. Kids are intuitive and hate to see a loved one upset. My daughter trys to comfort me when Im upset. My told me, it was about a year ago. I got in an argument with my step-dad and my mom started to get upset. She said my daughter brought her a book and said, lets read this Grandma. I thought it was very sweet.

That is so sweet of your daughter! She must have tried to ease the tension at home by offering a distraction. Kids are intutive, aren't they? When I get into an argument with my husband, my daughter straight away goes up to him and beats him asking why he is shouting at her mom. We immediately stop all arguments and attend to her.

Oh, I am so sorry that your mother did not appreciate what you did for her bunnybon. It would have been heartbreaking for the child in you. But it is good to see that all that has not affected your way of treating your daughter. Make this relationship a special one and it will make up for the lost one with your mom. Cheers.

Awwh how sweet devijay, you are doing a great job at raising her to be caring. How sweet! This is so kind of you to post it reminds me of my daughter and her so caring ways. She has never ever been able to be upset with me for longer then a minute. She always shows her love for me no matter how much I have upset her. Blessings to you both.

Thanks HWG. I sometimes do wonder if I am doing the right thing with my daughter. I guess most of us are like that and our kids are caring too. It is only that some refuse to see that in their hurry to get on with the daily routine and eventually, it affects the child. My daughter is very attached to me as well as me to her. And after all the problems I have gone through, her unconditional love is my only comfort sometimes. Glad to see that you share such a relationship with your daughter too.
