Question about vista! / myLot

I looked online to see if I could fix this problem but can't seem to find a solution. I have a vista computer it has a dvd/cd player burner installed from the factory. Well today it won't recognize my dvd/cd player burner. It says I don't have one. But I do. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? Need it today so I can burn a cd and give it back to my brother. Please help me fix this thing. Thank all of you for your help.

just search for a cd/dvd burner on the internet :) download and install :D so that you can start burning it :D

Hi Merylle and welcome to my lot. Thanks your response didn't help but it did jar my memory so I could figure out I needed drivers and got it fixed. Again thanks!
