Found a Job

It is great that I finally found a job willing to work with my school hours, but now I have more concerns. I go to college about 25 miles from my house four days a week, and soon it will be five days. I am about to have to work about 35-40 miles away from school, which is where I will have to go everyday after school plus on Saturdays, so I'm working six days a week. On top of it all I go to church almost 5 days a week which is about 30 miles from my job that I will have to drive after I get off work. I drove all of this today, and it cost $30 in gas today... I feel like I can't win for losing. Plus I am so exhausted and stressed that it seems like I can't even go to sleep at night. I wish I could have a break!

I suggest you face your studies very seriously. It is not good to combine jobs and studies together. By working while studying, it will affects your academic performance in classes at the end of the day.

You are right, it has been very exhausting. I have no choice though, I can't afford to not work. I just have to maintain as much as I can and stay busy. Luckily, my job allows me to work on homework when we are not really busy.

Sounds like you need a break. Be sure to do that. Gas is crazy high right now too and that certainly doesn't make it any easier. I often feel overworked too and the thing I do for myself is myLot and a nice long hot bath..lol...might help you to sleep better too. Good luck and take care.

Do you really need the money or you just need the experience? I guess you are working too hard an you still have time and you can finish your school first then go for a job its sometimes better that way if you can afford it. No use spending money on traveling and then loosing your health too. Its better to stay fit if you have the luxury of doing so.

Yeah, I need the money bad. I can't hardly afford my gas and food everyday... so I am glad I have a job finally, but I am exhausted!
