I had a talk with my india collegues while he is on business trip in china. As he perceived and saw, China is a very good country with so many high buildings, so many highways and the city is also clean, everything is well-organised and what's more, China will be the second large economic entity around the world. Is this the same thing you guys feels? let me know how do u feel about this, I also can share how we, the local residents feels.

you got one point, earning money. but as reponse, you might say, earning money is hard from every place, as saying, no pain no gain, also as, no pay(effort) no gain. The true thing is, the money we got is only enough for our basic life requirement. for example, average salary for my city is around 4K RMB, but the house price is around 7K RMB.

Hi, della, where are you? the back ground of your picture is like close to west lake,e.g. XiHu,which is in Hangzhou city. you know what, 4K RMB is not a higher salary, even the labors can get more than this in China right now.

well i totally agree with what you said, behind the glossy appearance is a struggling hard life.there are too many unfair things and vulnerable groups, you can have a glimpse through the influx of migrant workers retuning home before and after spring holiday.they just belong to one of this kind of groups, life is tough for them and forces them to go to somepalce where is not belonged to them ,they make great contribution but despised by the proud rude unbarn dweller.they are often be thought as the origin of social problems ,crimes and instability.but who knows the blocks of architectures only the rich can afford to buy is build by those people.however they dare to think one day to live in such a house or even to buy a house like this.it's ironic, hum? while as one of another vulerable large group"college students".well i have been a graduate now who want to settle in beijing, but this sounds to be a day dream now coz everyone on earth knows the house price of beijing,it's somewhat lopsided.no one who just graduate from school can afford it plusthe new sales restrivtions policy.if can.then he or she must be a rich second or by nurturing... i just list two examples and wish everything will be ok...

Dear, you are definitely correct!! you are aware of all these things as a yong lady. Do u think if our goverment also know all of this? why these are no effective changes? There is a very famous principle named as "20/80 rules", like, 20% of the human resource in China have controlled 80% of the china's resource. I believe all of us know this Coz we are here experiencing it. that's why I started the new topic to get the feedback from friends abroad, how are they feelling about china. it seems foreigner are not intersted in this.

of course govenment knows but i think they have to change the status quo little by little, the soceity of china today is complexing and full of interest, the officers on high lever care people less as long as their interest is satisfied and thier children have school to go to...e.g nonlocal student who want to attend Tsinghua have to get more than 100 point than the local student,it's totally unfair that partly cause many emigrants into beijing, why can't the govenment just cancel this obvious inequities and make a first step to change,no way, why?coz their daughters and son are in beijing and they want to be privileged, how sad, hum? yes, foreigners seem inconceivable of our status and most of them knows little of china not to mention speaking opinions..by the way you work aboard?then you must experienced a lot.have you noticed chinese are quite inactive here and i feel sometimes it's hard to understand the foreighers and exchange with them...

Well my family left china in the 40's because of hardships and such. But the family we left there are the same or at par of what we have here so if you think about it, leaving really didn't do anything much.

Life is hard if you are not paying enough harwork and perseverance. The hard I mean is propably from political and economy side. like, How do u think of Obama will be if he was born and grew up in China? Why there is no Chinese guy's get the Nobel Prize? Because we,here, do not have the fair platform. In the goverment department, all the big boss is old enough, please make a comparision with our presidents and primier, they are on behalf of the situation in all the state-owned enterprise.

I just came back from China, and I was luckily enough to visit GuangZhou, which is a one of the southern city in China. This place is awesome, and I can perceived the economic growth is unlimited with a lot of spending power even within this city. So, I would definitely visit China one more time, and If I could find a business opportunity there, I might consider moving there too.

I haven't been to China but what your colleague said was my perception too. A good country with skyscrapers and clean, well-organized country with a very rich culture. That was my perception. Well, honestly speaking, I didn't know about the 20/80 rule there. It's really difficult for people to live in that rule because it is not just fair. I really do hope that something good would happen because China is really a nice country.
