Hi,
Many people are still in the impression that awarded a BR they get extra bucks added. It is just a recognition or appreciation that out of so many responses yours one got more attention.
Even though late I try to select the BR. But never ever have selected one within 12 hours of posting my discussion.

That's what I think too, in 12 hours you don't give the others the chance to comment/response to your topic which might be BEST. :)

I have given a few best responses because they really deserved it. I'm thinking if they were marked that way, then more people would read it. But sometimes I don't bother because there are more than one who deserve the BR. I can't help sometimes but wish you could award at least the top 3. :D
I also wait for days before deciding to give a BR or not.:)

There is NO additional earning for receiving a Best Response.
All t allows is Boasting Rights.
I give Best Responses on the topics that I start after a long time and sometimes, when there is more than one response which deserves it, I do not awardit at all.

I have been known to give them out on my discussions. Just am behind on giving out a lot of them. But you do not earn anything extra from what I have seen when you get one. It just makes me Happy that someone took the time to think my response was good enough to help them, and warrant a Best Response.
