Facebook addiction

Ok so I've been told I have an addiction to facebook. It's true that it's the first think I look at when I wake up and the last think I look at before I go to bed. And I do have a habit of posting alot durring the day and night. But in my defense if it wasn't for facebook I wouldn't have gotten back in touch with great friends of mine who live in another state that I had lost touch with due to all of us moving around. I have since visited them twice in the past year. Also facebook keeps me up to date on things going on in my friends and family's life as well as connected to certain news items I'm keeping track of and entertainment items as well. How does everyone else feel about facebook. Have you had similar experiences?
