My son when out skateboarding uses a 7.5 0r less. As the board is longer the less width will give your board a better pop. Wheels my son is serious keeping it at a 51 or 52. Abecs normal size are 7's but now my son has mastered Abec 9's and wants nothing less on his wheels. Abec 9's will have a faster speed through yoour wheel. The slimmer the board the more pop you will be getting from it. hope this helps people that are skateboarding. My son has purchased a lot of his gear for his board on TGM on Ebay. Give them a check out they do carry some awesomne starter bearings, wheels and boards. And as you get better you can move up piece by piece so you are not out so much money. Check them out.
