i haven't worn a wristwatch for about a decade now eversince i started relying on my mobile fone for checking out time. but last month, our company has decided to give a limited edition wristwatch to the top 8 qualifiers in our recent accreditation program wherein 131 participated from different parts of the country. it is pretty symbolic, knowing we underwent a very stressful week to pass exams and all. and to actually be one of the recipients of the token is a great boost to the morale. so i decided to wear it when company owners and consultants started asking me its whereabouts. knowing it should belong in my wrist. hehe

That is quite an achievement to your part so you better wore it or the officers in your company can detect you are not enjoying their gift for your good work.

It has become a habit with me to wear it when I am going out. I don't remember checking my time ever looking at my watch but I don't feel dressed if I don't have my wrist watch!

Even me also felt the same way as you do because I am already accustomed to wear my watch everytime I go out.As of this time as the importance of gadgets are becoming more and more sophisticated,I sometimes left behind my watch because I have already my cellphone to know my time.I just felt very light when I am not wearing my watch.

Don't you think it is easier to check time on a wristwatch rather than the cell phone. If the cell phone is off and is somewhere inside the bag or pocket, on needs to pull it out from there and switch it on and then check the time!

Have you forgotten those watches with radium dials which light up in the dark?. Imagine keeping your cell phone on in the night with messages ringing away the night through. I like my watch and that's final

White Wrist Watch - Signature Watch
It is more convenient to look at my wrist watch when I need to know the time rather than digging up on my purse for my cellphone just to see the the time. So I still do wear wrist watch. And besides, wrist watch is not only for knowing the time. For women like me, wrist watch is also an accessory. This is the reason why I collect watches of different colors so that I could match them with the color of my outfit.

Yeah, I still wear a watch. I almost always wear it when I go somewhere. But when I'm at home, I don't normally wear it because I have no need to. Honestly though, if I happen to forget it, I don't tend to worry about it either because I also usually carry my cellphone with me and as you said, I can just use that for the time.

We have the same ideas on how we appear when we go out-carefree and independent. When I use my wrist watch,I felt more elegant and detailed with my suit.I do not tend to see my watch yet I am more dependent on my cellphone in viewing the time, but when it is still a day I got to see my watch. When I am at home I depended my time at our wall clock so as I was during bedtime.

I want wrist watch really. I use it as an accessory. But now that all my wrist watch are broken I started to get used to phone clock. And they're a lot easier.. But I can still see many people using wrist watch! Because showing your phones in public can cause the trigger of crime, and you know what i mean :

I don't think it's "less useful" as you said. If your cellphone goes missing you can still know what time it is if you are wearing a wrist watch. A wrist watch is one of my favorite accessories, I have a ton of them. Just because I have a cellphone doesn't mean I don't want to wear a watch. I am old fashioned, to each their own.

Specially with the new phones like iPhone. You have to grab it out of the pocket, turn on screen, look put it back. Grabbing my hand takes like 2 secounds. Besides: I think its so comfortable to have something on the wrist. Also its some nice jewlery. I have a watch that looks sporty, but not to shiny. Still experts know what cool watch it is.

There are a lot more cool gadgets in the market today that are more sophisticated.I do not mention any brands yet I still used my watch because I am used to it before and my left hand felt like somewhat too light without the watch worn in.

Yes I do. I basically always wear one, when I am not asleep. I always collected them. Also my wife and kids. Since they got their frist one, they seem to appercitate them. And they all have phones too.

I haven't worn a watch for several years now you come to mention it. I can't think why! Perhaps, time isn't important to me anymore. Yes, it's on the cellphone but I don't carry that around with me either. Maybe my inbuilt sense of time has finally refined itself to the limit. Thanks for this discussion, I just learned something about myself that I was previously unaware of!

I know that wearing a wrist watch is still important even if you are not catching up the time.It just reminds us that it is time to get up,time to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner. The most important to time is our schedule to sleep that we do not overlap time with our schedules to fall asleep.Due to the advances of science and technology some people do used it anymore, including me sometimes, yet instead they use their gadgets and cellphones for the knowing of time and other information.Have a happy mylotting.

Yes I'm still using it, as an accessory. Sometimes it looks cool and more elegant when you are wearing a wrist watch. And for me, it's still my primary source in knowing the time. I rarely get my phone just to know the time. So for me, wrist watch is still useful.

You are correct my friend because wearing a wrist watch makes you look more elegant, yet sometimes it is also bothersome because the strap was already useless or the time piece is out of order. You have no other choice but to see your cellphone about the real time.
