If you seen that a poor person was really trying to be successful would you help

If you seen a person who was poor and needed money to go maybe go to another state so they could get a job or need money to continue their education or needed money to get their fix so they could continue working would you donate to help them out?

hello,
If I have more than money in my pocket of course I will donate because I know it is for his/her better. Imagine that , it is on your hand if she/he will gonna be successful looking for another job. 
it is not bad to help other people as long as they have a valid reasons. but of course it always depends on you.

Being that I am not loaded and or rich, best I could do was help with anything outside involving money. I could help with research, computer work, running errands and or answering phones but because I too am trying to earn these days my time would be a bit limited but certainly I can help with something, outside of money of course.
