I always got this problem after chopping garlic! My hand especially the fingers will have the pungent smell of garlic and it wont go away after times of washing with detergents or handwash.. Hope to get some advice so I can quickly get rid of the smell! If the smell cant be remove quickly, i guess i would need to invest in a food blender soon... Looking forward to some advice :) Thanks!

You can also rub you hands against stainless steel, a spoon perhaps, and it will remove the odor. By the way, to really know whether your hand is still smell of garlic, you need to ask someone else to smell it because after you have been working with garlic, the sense of garlic smell may be registered in your nose for quite sometime. So, even if your hands are free of the smell after washing and cleaning, you may still feel the smell of garlic.

Try the lemon, just rub it to your palm and around your fingers.

To remove onion scent marks on the hands, then rinse hands with running water (tap), while washing a pan or cooking utensils made ??of stainless steel for 30-40 seconds. After that, wash hands with soap and see that the smell was gone.
