This might be a bore to some but i will still make this lol there might be people here who could be a great help. I have been draining my brains lately and been reading a lot about stocks but i am still lost. Anyone knows how to read stocks?I have a friend who is into it and he has been investing in it for quite some time now and he even introduced his broker to me and what is good with his broker is that they have this Easy Investment plan where students or even those like me who have less capital can start with only P5,000 pesos for investing in stocks. but i have not yet decided about it because i am still studying on how to read stocks. anyone tried to invest in stocks here?

I suggest you to continue learning :) As a wise man said: do not put your future on somebody's hand.. as well as your money i guess.. ;) if you can not take losing your money, then do not play stocks. everyone who put their money on stocks lose sometimes, so the first thing is to set a nominal of money which you can lose and will not be crazy because of that. learning with the best is a way to minimize your risk of losing your money, so do not feel tired to read books about stock and how to success in stock trading, you can also come to seminars about stock trading for beginner. i do not know about your country, but in my country there is a game to learn about stock trading (include the real stock market but using virtual money so you dont have to afraid about losing money in this game..^^) i still learning about this too, so i can tell you only this much.. hope it can help you.. good luck! :)

CatGods and cgirl are both right. Investing in stocks is just like gambling. You are not sure whether the one you're betting on will generate some return of investment. It is better you start slow and invest small, as cgirl has said, so that you won't get crazy if you lose your money. I suggest that you look for a mentor. Someone who has been into stocks a little longer. Someone who is willing to help you learn the ropes on investing in stocks. Good luck on building your personal wealth!

I also want to learn something about investing stocks or whatever you call it... something about the stock exchange. I would also love to study a thing or two about stocks like you. And to answer your question... No. I still haven't tried investing in stocks. :[ But, I would love to study about it. :]

The potential of earning from stock exchange surpasses other income. However, as there is a possibility of reward, there is also a possibility of loss. You need to have some spare money before you start. Start small and then try it out. There are two approaches, technical and fundamental. The best is a mixture of both. Alternatively, is to use mutual fund. Nothing will replace experience when it comes to stock.
