Claim by Pakistan that the authority there was quite in the dark about the presence of Osama bin Laden only a few yards away from the military academy at Abbottabad in Pakistan has made the country a laughing stock to the whole world. Do you agree? Do you believe this claim by Pakistan?

I have the feeling that Osama bin Laden has some sympathisers in the Pakistani government that was given him some kind of cover up. If the entire pakistani government was given Osama bin laden some protection they would not have invited the american to come and fight terrorism in pakistan. So it is only a few person that was supporting Osama bin Laden and they were using government machinery to send information to him. I know the pakistani government also wants to keep american dollars coming in into their country. But they are not in support of terrorism. However, I want to condemn the Obama government for not respecting the sovereignty of pakistan. They invaded Osama bin Laden hide out without telling their host about their plan. Having killed Osama bin Laden, they still refuse to hand over the body to the pakistani government. Instead they choose to bury the body at the high sea. I think Obama committed a major foreign policy blunder with respecting a country that hosted them. They blindly carry out a mission without telling their partner ( pakistan ) about the mission. There is now a mistrust between the american government and the pakistani government. Future partnership between bother government is now being threatened.

You are absolutely right. Laden had sympathizers both in the government and the army in Pakistan and also in the common people. So he thought that Pakistan was the safest place in the world for his survival.

Doctordidi, it is a bit difficult to say that Islamabad didnt know. Money from Saudi is something that comes into that country every day. On whose name it came in, we dont know. So that is the first thing. As to holding some properties in the country, I am not aware of the rules and regulations in Pakistan. In Indian, it would not have been possible in most states. But an impoverished nation might just choose to overlook the source of money. I'd say chances are 50 : 50 that Islamabad was not aware of Bin Laden's presence.

Terrorism any form is to be condemned. Indian Authorities have been saying that Pakistan gives shelter to all terrorists but the World do not take serious.China is supporting Pakistan in all ways. Some day or toher China would realize this. THis is the right time that the world leaders takes appropriate steps and Pakistan should be freed from terrorists.

They are not only a luaghing stock, but they cannot be trusted. How come Osama Bin laden lived there for 6 years and they had not idea about it. It is not believable if they cliamed ot have intellegence of international standard. If means to us outsiders that there must be elements of pro osama in the goverrnment and army of Pakistan. It means now for western society and for any good man and woman around the world to see any Pakistanee and think, Can I trust this person? It is now up to the Pakistani givernement to prove itself not guilty of habouring a notorious terrorist by carrying out an internal investigating and bring all those responsible out to the justice and to safe its face. Otherwise, Pakistan is now seen by the world and a lair.

I do not believe for a minute that Pakistan did not know where Osama Bin Laden was. They are liars. They had to be covering up for him. I feel that Pakistan should be cut off from the rest of the world. And if the surrounding countries have a problem with that, then they should be cut off also. I wouldn't be surprised if Israel is hiding terrorists. I believe the entire middle east is corrupt.

It is very difficult to believe anything that comes from Pakistan.Right from its inception this country has been spinning a web of deceit and lies and fooling its own people who are living and suffering in poverty. The Pak army and the ISI,the ccounter intelligence department have long supported jehadi and militant groups mainly to cause trouble and unrest in neighbouring India. It has also been fooling its partner America from whom it has taken billions of dollars in aid but used the money for terrorist activities.Everybody knows that Pakistan is the breeding ground for terrorism around the world, yet USA has turned a blind eye. However America has finally woken up to the fact that Pakistan is untrustworthy and so the bin Laden operation nicknamed Geronimo took place without that country being informed.Pakistan is a renegad and rogue nation and all counties of the world should put tremendous pressure on it and force it to stop funding and supporting terrorists and terrorism around the world.
