which brand of laptop is the best?

Dear friend, There are few best laptops, like Dell, Sony, Thosiba, HP, Compaq, HCL so on. But the configurations varies and this is projects the requirement of the customers or users of the laptop. I feel if the laptop is for minimum use, it would be better to select those with that configurations. Moreover as this an electronic item if you purchase a laptop with high value withing months it will get outdated and price gets reduced. May be to select those which suits our requirements would be much better. At present I feel Compaq, HCL and Dell are better

Are you doing a design course of some sort? If so, you need to find out from your tutor what the programs you will be using are, and what systems they will run on. There's no point buying the latest Windows machine if all your coursework has to be done on a Mac. If not, then look around and see what programs you are going to want to run and what they are available for. Basically there isn't a single "best" laptop. It will depend on your individual requirements.
