Was the Internet created by aliens from outer space?

Computers were mostly for typing and simple programming up until the 90's. And nobody used it much except the big corporations. Then suddenly in 1995 I think, programming suddenly became complex and the Internet was born. It's like computer technology going from 3rd Grade to Post Graduate Level overnight. Where did this come from? Is this a way for the aliens to upgrade our technology so that someday we will be prepared to meet them? What do you think?

Im not sure how it come about i thought that it was a progrommersadvancements, and things are continuing to grow. I think you both have ery unique opinions on the subject, but your discussion is intresting and im glad you put this thought into my head to ponder, same with you Stowy!! lol Im not sure the aliens are coming back for us, but i would like them too soon if they are going to because we have almost destroyed this planet, and they say its broke by 2012!

communication is the worst thing to happen, they don't even know what might be the meaning of hand signalling for a particular action.... we humans in Planet Earth communicate using voice came from our vocal cords, and that aliens communicate using ultra-silent brain waves with a rapid and alternate interval... if communications between both sides are very hard to process then there is a possibility of a so-called "Star Wars"

Try not to look at the growth pattern of computers and the internet in an additive way. Rather it is much more like an exponential growth. When a growth pattern occurs at an exponential rate, there is always a cresting moment, a leaping point if you will, when the growth appears to make a sudden surge upward. The Internet's inception intersected with this point in the growth of personal computer technology. Now together, the growth of both the hardware and software continues at an abrupt upward sweep. This doesn't have anything to do with aliens, per se, but it can be mind blowing how quickly such exponential growth can occur after crest has been passed and the upward surge has begun. With such a growth pattern one should expect emergent systems to arise along the way. Sometimes very surprising things can emerge from such technological complexification. Surprising though it may be, that does not make it alien, merely the unexpected eureka as technology appears to take on a life of its own.

How can we possibly give credit to a fine invention such as trhe internet to alien beings? Could they possibly have the kind of power and intellect to come up with intenet on their own? i would like to think the human race could take all of the credit for this one. let the aliens have something else.

i don't think that Internet is created by aliens from outer space because people have so many wants so that they need to explore, to study to conduct and to give to our next generation

...I found the notion of Internet coming from aliens very cute. To indulge you, I wish they would comeback and give more of their technology since most of our technology is getting old minute by minute. We should exchange ideas more and more often in order for our species to prosper and realize our potentials. Maybe we should encourage them to live on our planet so that we don't have to call on them when we need help. Besides, why should we care about human invent=ions if we can grasp the ultimate technology of the aliens. It's not that our human brain can't do anything or conceive new ideas but it takes a lot more time for humans to do and realize things than alien's brains. Their brains are more bigger and more productive than ours.

Their have been many examples of alien technology and life forms in recent times. many aliens have infiltrated infrastructures to gain a foothold. JFK was an alien. His killers were known to the CIA to be alien bounty hunters by the name of Ruby & Oswald. Pamela Andersons right brest is an alien strobe which mind reads all life and sends messages back to the dark side of the moon. Pop star Prince is a runaway child from the Crab nebula. Oreos were invented by aliens as were the space hopper, the rubiks cube and pyjamas. you must also remember never to step on yellow lines on the road as they are Androclean worms from sector Zagog.

its a very wrong to say that internet were created by aliens from outer space.... as here in our planet, our main source of power to run machines are: 1. Electricity = compatible to run internet 2. Fossil Fuels = compatible to run internet 3. Generator = compatible to run internet 4. etc.... as on their planet, their main source of power to run something are: 1. Jelly-like cotton unexplained = incompatible to run internet or will explode 2. Force-field waves unexplained = incompatible to run internet or will explode 3. Soundings of the - 22 unexplained = incompatible to run internet or will explode 4. etc..... note: the scientific table of elements that are present in our planets are different to those scientific table of elements found in each of the exo-planets found in every unique millions of civilizations exists anywhere in the vast depth of space.... if us humans of earth, our body is made up of CARBON ELEMENT.... maybe that particular alien in their particular planet - their body is made up of AMMONIUM ELEMENT.... the same explanation also to each of the unique worlds in every worlds... therefore, internet was not created by aliens....
