Well Viru will miss the coming tour in westindies due to injury. Probably the BCCI would have rested Viru even if he was fit to play. Surely BCCI is planning to rest many seniors, as they are having very busy cricket schedule. but is it good for indian teams to miss some big name in international cricket due to the money flow tournament like IPL? If Sehwag has rested from IPL then he may not have got injured and would have been fit to play for India but this IPL is making the Indian team top quality player injured and tired. I think the international players at least top 11 players in indian team should not participate in IPL and give chance to youngsters. What do you think, is this IPL forcing BCCI to pcik a second order team for the next tour?? do you think players should be given rest after playing IPL? Shoud the superstar players miss thier international match after playing for money?? Or should they represent INDIA and play for the nation after this IPL?? Any way this is a bad news for Team India, because Viru is a key player of indian team, surely we have replacement, but its not good to miss a player that too due to IPL.

i dont think that- their will be any problem without shehwag in west indies tour.he is un matchable.but,we dont need any exclusive players to beat todays west indies.the west indian wickets are same like indian mats today.they lot their old bouncy once.so,it will be a chance for an young talent like valthaty or tiwary or pandey to prove themselves in international matches and make strong the reserve bench.and why shehwag was playing in ipl, though he knew that-he has an injury.i dont know.club is not important than country.it is better to give him a rest for a while.may be you got the point, what i want to say...

ya new players are getting chance, but viru is viru and its ok, that westindies is not a big tour. but if it was against australia then viru would have been a big miss. and all these is happening due to IPL.

there should be some restriction for national team players to play for ipl.icc must create some rules to save quality players...

Yes IPL makes the players tired. But It is very use full to youngsters. Seniors also getting practice very well. IPL is commersial so we cant blame them, players can play in such of tournments, its their choice. If that situations came like sehwag's injury then it is unluck to Indian team. Because of this we cant blame IPL.

The players like viru should give more priority to ODI. he should have gone for surger just after world cup.

Either way, I don't think Virender Sewhag would have played in the West Indies tour. Just like MS Dhoni , he has been playing all forms of cricket for the last 12 months. And after the world cup and IPL, he definitely would have opted for rest. I just hope that he just recovers fully just by the time of the England tour as he is one of the main player for England conditions. Now he have more 2 months to recover and lets hope he gets fully fit.
